Google
Lens is increasing its capabilities by adding more useful features. Recently it
has updated its text recognition feature. Previously, this feature allowed you
to copy the text to your current device’s clipboard. But the latest update allows
you to copy text from the real world and send it to any other device where you
are logged in. There are just a few conditions that you have to meet:
- You must be logged in with chrome
- Must use the same account on both (mobile and Computer)
In this
article, we will discuss the method to transfer your text (Handwritten/typed)
from Google Lens to your device’s clipboard or computer.
Step 1: Open the
Google Lens app on your smartphone
Step 2: Point towards
text that you want to copy
Step 3: Tap “Capture”
and select the text that you want to copy
Method 1:
To Copy Text to Clipboard
Method 2: To
Copy Text to Your Computer
Step 4: Now tap
on “copy to computer” and then pick the device where you want to copy.
Google also
provides you the ability to listen, translate, or search the selected text.
